Degree-Seeking Applicants
Choose this option if you are seeking a master’s, specialist or doctorate graduate degree. Refer to the appropriate department for specific admission requirements to that degree program.
Graduate Certificate Applicants
Graduate certificates are prescribed programs of study at the post-secondary educational level. Certificate programs focus on specialized coursework for preparing individuals in a variety of areas. Refer to the appropriate department for specific admissions requirements to that certificate program.
Non-Degree-Seeking Applicants
Georgia State offers the opportunity for students who are not in direct pursuit of a graduate degree to take courses in some departments. Please note, not all programs offer non-degree options. Please inquire with program of interest for more information.
Re-entry Applicants
Former Georgia State students can complete a Re-entry Application (to return to active status) through The Graduate School's Office of Graduate Admissions. Georgia State graduate students may only apply to reenter the graduate program(s) under which they were previously admitted and enrolled.
