PRESENTERS
Instructions for Presenters
Students may present their work in one of five formats:
- Poster Presentation
- Oral Presentation
- Artistic or Creative Talk
- Musical Performance
- Film Presentation
For multi-authored work, only one author should create an account using the abstract submission form. This individual will be designated as the "submitting author." Co-authors are added to the abstract submission form by the "submitting author". Co-authors are then sent a separate email to confirm their participation on the submission.
Students are strongly encouraged to work closely with their advisors to submit their best work.
Multiple submissions by the same "presenting author" are allowed with no guarantee of acceptance for all.
Before you begin the abstract submission process, please be sure you have:
- The submission's final title
- The abstract text (up to 250 words)
- Name and contact information for co-authors
- View abstract submission instructions for existing account holder or first-time submitter.
- Upon acceptance of your abstract, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in to be considered for the various award categories.
Tips for Presenters
- Practice your presentation in front of advisors and colleagues, encouraging them to ask questions.
- Ensure your presentation fits within the assigned time limit. Aim for approximately one slide per minute.
